Thomas Cascione
The managing attorney of the firm, Thomas Cascione is a graduate of Fordham University and St. John’s Law School. Mr. Cascione was an assistant district attorney for the Bronx County district attorneys’ office under the famed Mario Merola. After leaving the district attorney’s office he practiced extensively in criminal law and has won “ not guilty” verdicts in murder, rape, arson, robbery, racketeering and narcotics cases as well as complex white collar and contract frauds. He is a frequent guest commentator on court TV (now True TV) and has been called “ one of New York’s top criminal lawyers” by the New York Post.
For the past 20 years, Mr. Cascione has also tried all manner of civil cases. He has won several awards in the million-dollar range and has gotten successful jury verdicts in medical malpractice, wrongful death, false arrest, product liability and numerous construction and automobile negligence matters. He has also successfully defended malpractice, assault and negligence actions for his clients. Mr. Cascione has both prosecuted and defended multi million dollar contract claims and real estate disputes –winning substantial awards from state and federal courts and arbitrators.
Following up on the above results, Mr. Cascione regularly briefs and argues his own appeals both in state and federal courts. Mr. Cascione is also licensed in the state of florida and has litigated a number of civil and criminal matters there in various courts.
